Reduce solar heat and harsh hot spots so sun-facing rooms feel more usable throughout the day
Block more than 98% of UV with Lumen's two standard solar-control films, helping reduce a major contributor to fading.
Reject a significant portion of total solar energy and reduce glare without replacing otherwise serviceable glass.
The best architectural window film should solve the problem without competing with the room. Lumen helps homeowners manage heat, glare, UV exposure and daytime privacy while considering the glass, natural light, exterior appearance and the way each space is actually used.
We bring samples, explain the tradeoffs clearly and recommend the right solution for the project – whether the priority is a more comfortable living room, protection for floors and furnishings, improved daytime privacy or better solar performance throughout the home.
Lumen’s two standard solar-control films are priced the same. The right choice comes down to the balance you want between visible light, reflectivity, cooling performance, glare control and daytime privacy.

Every film changes the glass to some degree. Lumen brings samples and explains visible light, reflectivity and exterior appearance so you can choose between refined performance and maximum solar control.
Reflective film can improve daytime privacy when the exterior is brighter than the interior. At night, interior lighting can reduce or reverse that effect, so shades or other treatments may still be needed.
